Recipe for Happiness?
Aug 30, 2024
When I was talking with my new tax mentor last year (Don't you wish that you had one? If you're an entrepreneur, you can request a mentor through SCORE, partner of the Small Business Administration), I shared with him that, looking back, it seems that every 10 years or so, I've made drastic changes to my life.
In my 20’s, I was mostly a student searching for my place in life, in my 30’s I had my adventures traveling and living in different parts of the world (and had my first entrepreneurial venture), and in my 40’s I stayed in one place, transforming my life as musician-teacher, building a business and livelihood for myself.
My mentor replied, “Perhaps that’s the key to your happiness.”
I was sure that I’m pretty much done with that kind of drastic change when I turned 50. I just didn’t think I had the energy!
The idea for this transformation of my business, building a whole new online brand, was only crystalized back in May.
Earlier this year, I went through some challenges in my life which culminated in losing two persons dear to me, both tragically, within a span of a week.
As I came out of that grief and loss, it was like I experienced a personal renaissance – new inspirations and ideas and energy.
So I've been going at producing the course with all my might (because if you know me, you know I'm a woman of action).
I can’t wait to share this course.
Last night, I had the chance to review what I have so far – it’s an indescribable feeling to see that my vision has been captured in these videos.
What is YOUR recipe for happiness?
xoxo
