Your explanations on each and every aspect look very well prepared, step by step following a good logic in exact the right tempo, no hurry, not too slow, just calm and patient.

What I particularly enjoyed are the practical lessons, easy melodys, simple chords, and this leads to make music from the very beginning.

And – without denying the need of proper technique – there is a focus on joy and feeling. And this finally is what music transforms from craftmanship to art !

Does This Sound Familiar?

  • “I don’t know where to start.”

  • “Other methods felt overwhelming or rushed.”

  • “I’ve tried before but ended up confused and discouraged.”

  • “I just want to play real music—not endless drills and exercises.”

  • “I don’t want to sit in a studio with kids, or feel pressured by a teacher watching me.”

  • “I want to learn on my own time, without rearranging my life around lessons.”

  • “Other teachers talk too fast, use jargon, and expect me to just ‘get it.’”

  • “I’m worried I won’t learn the right technique and will end up with bad habits.”

  • “What if I miss the important theory I actually need to play music well?”

Imagine If Instead…

  • You sat down and played a simple, beautiful piece after your very first lesson.

  • You knew exactly what to practice each step of the way—without guesswork.

  • You learned privately, at your own pace, with no one breathing down your neck.

  • You felt the freedom to pause, rewind, and replay lessons whenever you needed.

  • You understood every step, explained in plain language, never rushed or filled with jargon.

  • You built a solid foundation of technique and posture, so your hands felt comfortable and natural.

  • You learned the theory that actually matters—just enough to understand what you’re playing, without overload.

  • You actually looked forward to practice, because it brought you joy and fit into your schedule.

Myths That Could Be Holding You Back

Myth 1: “I’m too old to learn piano.”

Truth: Many of my happiest students began in their 50s, 60s—even 70s. Adults often learn faster because you choose this for yourself and bring patience, focus, and life experience to the music. My own mom, who had never played piano before, went through this very course on her own at age 77—with very limited English. I’ve even had a student at age 90 who delighted in sitting at the piano each day. If they can do it, so can you.

Myth 2: “I’m not talented enough.”

Truth: Talent is not required—curiosity and patience are. I’ve taught hundreds of students, and the ones who succeed are not the “gifted” ones, but the ones who simply show up and enjoy the process.

Myth 3: “I’ll need years of lessons before I can play real music.”

Truth: You don’t have to wait. You’ll play your first simple piece within your very first week—and keep building a repertoire you love, step by step.

Myth 4: “If I don’t study with a teacher in person, I’ll miss something important.”

Truth: Online lessons give you freedom: you can pause, rewind, and review as often as you like. You’ll never feel rushed, and you won’t have anyone breathing down your neck. In fact, many adults prefer learning at home without the pressure of a studio full of kids. And I have seen with my own eyes how students in this course have flourished without ever meeting me!

Myth 5: “Teachers go too fast, use jargon, and expect me to just ‘get it.’”

Truth: That’s not how I teach. Every lesson is paced slowly, explained in plain language, and demonstrated clearly—so you can actually understand and enjoy what you’re learning. Honestly, I’ve watched some YouTube tutorials where the teacher goes so fast I wonder if they’ve ever worked with a real beginner. That’s not the experience you’ll have here.

Myth 6: “I’ll miss out on the right technique or theory if I learn online.”

Truth: Technique and theory matter—but only the parts that help you play beautifully. I show you the essentials for posture, hand position, and musical understanding, without overwhelming you with the rest.

Myth 7: “I’ve tried before and it didn’t work.”

Truth: If you’ve struggled before, it probably wasn’t your fault. Many methods rush, overload, or skip the most important foundations. With clear structure and patient guidance, you can finally feel progress at the piano.

Myth 8: “I can figure it out on my own.”

Truth: You could—but it’s easy to waste time or build bad habits. A structured path saves frustration and gives you confidence that you’re learning the right way from the start.

Myth 9: “If I just practice more, I’ll eventually get there.”

Truth: Practice is essential, but it only works if it’s focused. That’s why I give you practice plans alongside lessons—so your time at the piano actually leads to progress.

But There’s Another Way…

Learning piano doesn’t have to feel rushed or complicated.
It doesn’t have to mean endless drills, confusing theory, or the pressure of someone watching over your shoulder.

Music is a gift. It can be simple. It can be beautiful.

With the right guidance, you can:

  • Sit at the piano and feel at ease, even as a beginner.

  • Play melodies that sound musical and whole from the very first lesson.

  • Learn at your own pace, pausing and revisiting as often as you need.

  • Discover the joy of music—not as an obligation, but as something that brightens your day.

This is the way I love to teach: clear, calm, and rooted in beauty. A path where the piano becomes not another task on your list, but a quiet place to breathe, to create, and to play.

Who Am I?

I’m Kristina Lee, and the piano has been both my companion and my calling.

I began teaching as a teenager just to pay for my own lessons, then went on to study piano performance at the university level. For years, music was my whole world—until it wasn’t. Life carried me in different directions, and for a long season, I stepped away from teaching and even from the piano itself.

It wasn’t until I was 40, after walking through both beauty and heartbreak, that I returned to the instrument I loved. And in that return, I discovered something new: music wasn’t just about performing or achievement. It was about healing, joy, and the quiet gift of creating something beautiful, even in ordinary moments.

When I began teaching adults again, I saw myself in their questions and hesitations:

  • “Am I too old to start?”

  • “What if I don’t have enough talent?”

  • “Can I really do this on my own?”

I knew I could help, because I had lived through those doubts myself. And so I began shaping a way of teaching that would meet adults exactly where they are—calm, clear, and encouraging.

This course is the fruit of that journey. It’s the path I wish someone had offered me when I returned to the piano: simple lessons, real music, and the freedom to learn with joy.
